Change images onMouseOver

This script lets you to change images when visitor moves mouse cursor over the image (link). Click here to see instructions.

Redirection

You can use this script to automatically redirect visitor from the loaded page to another page.  If you want to use it, put it to your head tag, change "http://yoursite.com" to the page you want to redirect to.

Add to favorites

This script allows adds your site to the visitor's favorites once he/she clicks on it.Put it wherever you want to have a link, change http://www.ecybers.com/webdesign/ to URL of your site and  "Web Development Resource" to the name of your site.

Status Bar Text

This script changes text of the status bar. Notice my status bar displaying "JavaScript". To use it include the following line to your body tag, change 'Javascript' message to anything you want. 

onLoad="window.defaultStatus='Javascript'"

Current Date 

This script allows you to show current date on your web page. I found it a bit silly, but there are web masters, who use it to make the site look updated all the time. See instructions and sample  here.

Form Validation

This script allows you to validate forms, so no invalid info will be submitted. See instruction here.

Pop-up window 

Have you seen those pop-up windows without explorer toolbar? This script will allow you to make them. See instructions here and sample  here.

Drop Down menu 

This script is very useful if you want to simplify navigation on your site. It's usually done with CGI script, but JavaScript works faster in most of the cases. I've put an example on this page, notice how easy it is to navigate using this menu. See instructions here.

ToolTipText

This script displays the text when the mouse is paused over the link on any other object. Click here to see the instructions and example.

Tree Menu Bar 2 (No Frames)

This script is very useful if you don't use frames and want to have Tree Menu bar for the navigation of your web site. Note: You should have basic JavaScript knowledge or computer knowledge in order to install this script successfully. Click here to see the instructions and example.
